| Onyul, which literally means “warm-hearted law” in Korean, is a pro bono corporation Yulchon established in 2014. Since its establishment, Onyul has strived to promote law firm’s social responsibility and create a caring community. To carry on its mission, Onyul is searching for a passionate lawyer who is interested in law firm social responsibility and the value of public interest. |
1. Qualification
US qualified lawyer who is a graduate of Handong International Law School
2. Number of opening
One (1)
3. Responsibilities
Perform research on public interest law and public policy & legislative support
Perform legal research on corporations and human rights
Network with foreign law firms regarding Onyul’s public interest initiatives and develop collaboration plans
Promote law firm’s pro bono activities and build a network among law firms to promote the value of public interest
Plan and implement internship programs with foreign law schools regarding public interest work
Propose and initiate new pro bono campaigns
4. Process
CV screening -> 1st round interview -> Final interview
5. Compensation
Will be based on Onyul’s internal compensation table (May be adjusted depending on the applicant’s experience)
Includes meal subsidies and taxi fares for working extended hours (Same level of benefits offered to Onyul’s Korea qualified lawyer)
